It is funny you say that I wanted to put an emblem in the center of the apple that would glow the normal white, but the apple isn't big enough. I also couldnt find any paint that would bond well to the outer poly carbonite. That is why I have been looking for an older iBook case. that way I can paint it on the inside of the computer and it won't get rubbed off. I tried a decal but it looked like ass. If I find a LCD shell from the origonal (2 USB) iBook then I am going to make the apple the Globe and have the Eagle and the Anchor will go through the apple.

What is that next to your iBook? It almost looks like the Digidesign Mbox.

The only thing next to it is my audio system. It is a sony bypolar tweeter and it looks like either a 6.5" or 7.5" self powered sub. On the right at the very edge is the container for my monitor wipes.

thats a great idea with the apple being the globe. I probably never would have thought of that. Im considering some ideas to mod and paint my ibook. I've already Changed the GUI on it...its pretty sweet.

I'm assuming that you just opened the top of the case and replaced the white diffuser sheet w/ a blue sheet of paper?

I wanted it ti look the same color when it was off as well and I used a stain glass clear spray paint. If you want to take it off you can just peel it right off in the future. I have the instructions on how to do this on a page I put together. I have also changed it.
