I had FOUR other covers that could have been used. Two of which were by artists friends of mine.
I decided to just go for the solid cover because i didn't want to take away from the material within.
I'm sure on my next book i'll do something more fancy. It wasn't rushed really...it was just that i didn't think it was as important.
I am also a fan of just solid colours with large black text. makes it stand out i think.

as for the thumbs up, my friend who was logged in as me (because he ordered a copy) rated it, not knowing he was logged in as me.
but hey, i woulda given it the same rating

just go to Lulu.com and upload a PDF, or you can upload .doc files and what not.
after that you supply cover art, etc, etc and inthe future if you'd like you can buy an ISBN for sale on Amazon or B&N etc, very simple.
Hell, you can even PAY to have osmeone on lulu look over your book.

Yes, you have to buy an ISBN number if you're in the US or the UK. In Canada they are free.

Link to another self publishing outfit. Mine, to be exact (cough). lulu.com and my own company do frequently talk and exchange information.

I bought a copy right when it was put up on lulu. I cannot wait to get it, however due to slow shipping, it won't be until Wednesday. I'll post some reviews when I get it
