Yeah, it's made by microsoft... but i dont care. im getting one... used of course.. $150 and my games are going to be,
Halo (DUH!)
Conflict: Desert Storm
Splinter Cell
Others?
I have a playstation and I am going to buy a N64 jsut for 007 and Perfect Dark! all for about $40 I am siked, but first i am going to buy a bitchen entertainment system... (27" Sony Wega tv, Denon 5.1 Sorrund system ($740))
Then I will be set....
Sorry This has just been on my mind all day.... But wait.... First I needanother Job.... mine is only letting me work 7.5 hours a week now (that does not support my food!, Thanks MOM!)

I've been playing Halo for months, beat the game on all settings a long time ago, and for some damn reason I'm still playing it.
Guess I'm getting my money's worth (bought it when it was at $299).

If you are thinking of an N64 then get goldeneye and also a RAM pack and Perfect Dark, and MarioKart.
For the xbox you will find Timesplitters 2 to have the same feel as goldeneye.
TS2 is smoother and better looking by far but it has that involvement that goldeneye squeezed from a game and is loaded with features like Perfect Dark. It could be the fact that half the goldeneye team wrote it!
(Compare the first dam level on both games)
And the xbox - if you have broadband - get xbox live!!!!!!!

Are there any good xbox exclusive titles other than Halo? I have played the thing several times, and all its good games seem to be on all the platforms.
Anyone wanna correct me?

Don't forget that the XBox is the only console that supports true 5.1 and HDTV, so even if a title runs across multiple platforms, the presentation will be better on the XBox. It also has custom soundtracks.

Starman, I know at least MotoGP is out for the PS2. Don't know about the others. I'm not a big gamer.
But I need a PS2! I need Hiigh Heat Baseball 2003. I played it on someone else's PC (2001 version) and it is the best baseball game I've ever played and I've been thinking about it daily since (3 months now)! My problem: that game is out for PC and PS2, I have a Mac and GameCube. Argh. The first $$$ I get are going to a PS2, some memory for it, and a copy of that game!

Isn't Microsoft losing a whole lot of money on their xbox strategy? halo's pretty fun, but there are other games that are way better on other platforms. I don't know why everyone runs around acting like halo is the be-all end-all of FPS games.

#1. Shenmue 2 is on Dreamcast.
#2. If those games are so good, why are people not going out and getting xbox's to play them (aside form Halo)?

Get MechAss...ault. It's the next best game next to Halo for Xbox, but you're gonna wanna get Xbox Live with it, or you'll be missing out on what the game is all about. (that is, getting owned by me)

Just ofund out that the PS2 version of High Heat Baseball doesn't have the one mode I want to use: Franchise. Now I'm going to have to get a PC!
