Ahead of the retail release of the new family of iPhone 6 smartphones, Tylt has announced that it is coming out with three new products by the end of the year for the devices. Two different screen protectors are rolling out, including a new version of the Alin screen protector. While the standard plastic version will be available for around $20, Tylt is offering a glass version for the first time for $35. Both come with an alignment tool to ensure the correct fit.

Versions of the Energi Sliding Power Case are on the way as well, with a new thermoplastic polyurethane inner case on the inside for better protection against shocks. Pricing for an iPhone 6 Energi Case with a 3,200mAh battery is said to be $100. Battery size and price for the iPhone 6 Plus version have yet to be determined, but pricing could extend past $100.

Booq releases the Taipan Shock, a backpack with room for a tablet, notebook

Booq unveiled the Taipan Shock today, a new backpack that is said to bring durability and functionality to working professionals. The Taipan Shock has a number of compartments, including side pockets, a large main area with dividers and a laptop area behind the main portion that holds notebooks up to 16.4 inches. At the front of the bag, users have access to a zippered pocket with enough space to hold a seven-inch tablet. Consumers looking for something that can hold up to weather and durability demands may be interested in the unit, as it has 1680D tri-weave polyester fabric on the outside with a water-repellent coating. The Taipan Shock is on sale now for $95.

Should we or should we not be interested in this instance?

"Consumers looking for something that can hold up to weather and durability demands shouldn't may be intested in the Taipan shock, as it has 1680D tri-weave polyester fabric on the outside with a water-repellent coating."
