I've had no luck in getting IE 5 to recognize the Quicktime plugin. For example, when you click on a link to a .mov or .mpeg file, it should play the movie within the browser window. It worked for me in 4.5 (and still works in iCab using the exact same plugin), but for some reason not in 5.0. I've looked all over Microsoft's support site, but couldn't find a thing (go figure, huh?). Any help would be appreciated.

Check the version# , I got 3.02.
You might want to recheck the plugin settings with the QT control panel too.
I came across a site recently which wanted to send me to Apple for QT but the problem was with Flash, Good luck
