MY top 3 have not changed for years- well, in the rock-y, popp-y genre:
Tom Waits
Peter Gabriel
King Crimson
The remaining two rotate. At the moment, they are Traffic and old Genesis. Last week it was still Traffic, but throw in Nick Drake.
IF we leap out of that Genre, we open up more.
John Coltrane
Norah Jones (Shazam and WHOOOO-EEEE!)
Miles Davis (this week)
Thelonius Monk (last week)
Charlie Mingus (next week, if we follow progression)

Agreed. Oasis is a close second behind them, but I can't stand one of their songs: She's Electric. God that song just goes through me like fingernails on a chalkboard

i like the fact that you included almost all Individual artists instead of bands and how you seem to not list your "Your 5 bands of the moment" and seem to list your individual playlist of the moment instead
not a flame, i just like how you just went completely off track with no disregard for the thread whatsoever...

I had the great pleasure of seeing Our Lady Peace in concert a couple weeks ago. I have to admit it was a hell of a show, especially being a fan of all five of their albums. Kind of weird that they've had five albums and now just hit it really big. Just goes to show not all quality music is popular. Great band, period.
