Thanks for reminding me. I have another 2 hours before the episode airs. 24 was by far my favorite TV show last season. The only problem is my second favorite TV show, Smallville, airs during the same time as 24. I'm forced to tape Smallville in the bed room and watch 24 in the living room.

Holy poo that was awesome! You're right, this season will definitely own! I'm glad I saw that. To anyone who missed it: Catch it on FX next Monday. You won't regret it.

Even I'll admit that was cool. I guess.
Too bad the decent looking guy is a wife beater.

"George, that's the problem with people like you. You want results, but you're afraid of getting your hands dirty"
Damn, I love this show.

Amen, capuchin.
24 is great television because it's so much like the great radio serializations from the 30s and 40s: a mini-cliffhanger before avery commercial; a major one between each episode. Can it strain credulity? Sure, but it's a really fun rollercoaster and a unique creative exercise.
Regardless of anyone's stance on the TV medium, it's what's right about free-network broadcasting. I highly recommend it to anyone.
And Jack Bauer kicks ass.

Great show but last year's premiere was even better. Remember? I couldn't believe the sledgehammer force of that episode. That was after they toned it down because of concerns over how the public would react in the wake of 9/11.
24 and The Shield were the only two shows I was really looking forward to seeing again this year.

Yeah, that was definitely the best line in the epi-hour.

When Jack shot that witness guy out of nowhere, it was so awesome. That's my kind of investigative work
What amazes me is how much they do in each hour. Its insane! For instance, Jack went from being damn near suicidal to shaving off his beard and getting a haircut and being Mr. Badass again. President Palmer went from fishing to calling the prime minister, yelling at Eri c a few times, and getting Jack back on the job. Wow.

I'm not sure if Nina and President Palmer's Wife are going to be in Season 2 (I am thinking their "profiles" on the official site were listed moreso for dramatic/backstory effect), but 24 truly owns. It's very similar to what I would have made if a hollywood producer came to my door with a bucket of cash and let me do whatever
