I've been a registered user of SilverScreen for a LONG time now and what I've never seen much of is a wide selection of themes.

I think it would be SWEET for OS X themers or maybe even 3rd parties, to port some of the awesome OS X themes to SilverScreen...

I've been working on one for my own use but if it comes out really cool on my new Tungsten E then I'll give Swiz his props for the inspiration!

Haha! Nice!

Too bad iPods aren't themeable. We'd be all over that.

Yeah... that is too bad. Someone should talk to Apple about that...

Ooh yeah, SilverScreen's a great launcher. I'd probably get into theming that, but my poor old Palm IIIxe can't do much more than 16 shades of gray . It'd be intriguing to see how complicated it is to make a SS theme (hey, it has the same 2-letter abbreviation ShapeShifter and Swizcore Studio...how's that for coincidental? ), I'd think that it'd be fairly simple and well thought out. Any takers?

It's really REALLY easy to make one, you simply open a blueprint.gif that's downloadable from the SS website and plop the corresponding graphics in the respective containers... upload the gif to your Palm, run a small app called Themester and it makes your theme from that blueprint.

Then you just make some background.gif's

Only downside is, you cannot theme any of the stuff on the top of the screen (cept for the batt.) or the disclosure triangle in the bottom right corner. I'm sure that's coming though.

haha, thats like saying if only osx did as much useless crap as a palm, lol

if palms ever have a cool purpose, like the integration of an actual ipod, or a dvd player for like 300 bucks, id pay for one. but with the way things are now, just give me an ibook, and a pad of paper/datebook

Notice how the software only runs on Windows but uses OS X style widgets and buttons.

I began trying to make one of the AA variants using Themester for use with SilverScreen, however the end result came out all screwed up...

I need to fiddle with the color table and color conversion a bit before I go any further...
