It's called "acting" and "preparing for a role." Toby Maguire buffed up for Spiderman (that WAS him-they had to use effects to make him wimpy for the early scenes), even Harrison Ford changed his shape for the second Indiana Jones movie. Charlize Theron did a LOT of work to be believable in Monster. LOTS of actors do that.

Like Christian Bale in The Machinist. It looked almost like special fx at first, but he actually lost all that weight for the role.

Snakes on a Plane was good because of the audience involvement in the theater. Never seen that in any other movie. I'll probably Netflix this at some point because it has Samuel L. Jackson in it.

saw the movie today, liked it a lot. Samuel Jackson was great, timberlake was passable and Ricci was smoking hot, you get plenty of hot shots, even breasts

Her acting in the Addams Family struck me as more memorable to me than any other Ricci movie I've watched: Casper and Sleepy Hollow. Also, the character fit her like a glove.
I don't necessarily value an an actress' performance by the amount of skin they show in the film.
I also liked Natalie Portman best as Leon's Mathilda.

Yeah, but she's a lesbian, you know. Despite the fact that she's reasonably attractive, the fantasy is killed for me knowing this fact.
(I have a family member who knows her well; have no doubt, the rumors are true. She's very good at not letting it get "public" though people who know her say its obvious)
