REALLY? can you demonstrate how the economy is better? And, can you prove that tax rebates caused the miraculous upswing in the economy that only you seem to perceive?

You may succeed in deluding yourself because Bush Christ told you the gospel according to wishful thinking and reelection dreams.... but I'm a tougher sell. I"m going to require actual data.

Less taxes=more money for business. More money for business=expansion. Expansion=more growth, consumption, output, and jobs. More consumption=more business for other businesses. More output=more sales & cheaper cost.

2 bucks? We're talking about business money here, genius. Since rich people create alot more jobs than the middle class, and since you believe the tax cuts were for only the rich, the business should have received alot of money.
Besides. Nothing will please you. What is required for the economy to improve over the slow economy after 9/11?

The money our business saved, thanks to Bush, allowed us to pass out over $100,000 in bonuses to the vast majority of our employees. It was a good day, that day.

It's still a compliment. It obviously lit some fire on at least one person rear.

For some reason, just about every thread I start seems to get locked, so I can only assume that this one will also get locked.

The way it goes -

- - - I start a rational thread

- - - Leftists come and attack me for a couple of pages

- - - The thread gets locked because the leftists derailed it and the topic is going nowehere

- - - The leftist strategy works, by silencing my freedom of speech, and getting my thread closed

Shouldn't the people who derail the thread, thus causing it to be locked be held responsible, and not the poster who started the thread ?

I feel like I'm getting punished here. I didn't do anything wrong.

I just wanted to get a last word in before this one possibly meets the same fate.

Heh, yeah -- I like how some people get it in their brain that the more fortunate HAVE or SHOULD give to the less fortunate. That's a totally inane idea. I don't work for anyone else but me (and my family, of course). All my money should be mine. Period.

The other side of the coin is that our "rich" company CHOSE to give back to our employees because we could. And THAT'S the way it should be: individual CHOICE.

It's really quite simple.

I've been checking out a few of those international booking sites, and I am seriously considering wagering some cash on the election. (four figures)

The odds I have seen at most places are approximately:

1.4 to 2.4

I was reading on one of those sites, that some dude from Quebec ( they all hate us, don't they ?) has wagered $7,000 on Bush. Guess they hate us, but they aren't that stupid afterall.

There's also quite a few people who have wagered thousands on Kerry. Election day will be interesting for quite a few people, indeed.

Only a few days away.

Just bumping this thread, so I don't have to dig that far back.

As a man of my word, I am prepared to either shell out $50 or collect $50 come election day.

Is Alan Greeenspan good enough for you? He's on recorded regarding both the economy being better, and the tax cuts (as well as the interest rate cuts) being responsible for the recovery.

Yes, I suppose it is official now, I'll PM you the account later on today sometime.

When all of those skewed early exit polls were coming out, it wasn't looking that great for me, but they all turned out to be way off in regards to reality.

It was a fairly close race, and it could've gone both ways obviously.

Well, congratulations to me and to you too, since the USA is the true winner. We are all Americans afterall.

I've never been low enough to actually ask another member about his/her age, but it's just this annoying curiousity for me, when it comes to you. Here you post things on this particular forum with complete disregard for the opinions, customs, political views, gender, and ethnicity of others; which is something that just screams to me, "pre-college".

So I'm left to assume you're either someone who's not yet out of high school, (somewhere around Freshman or Sophmore level) or you have graduated college, and for all I know are 25 or 30 and those previously mentioned grade "levels" are simply your mental age.

Hopefully you'll let me know if I'm close, but when you say things like "A true victory for strength and balls" or "I'd have grabbed her liberal boobs" etc, etc, I can't be too far off.

Pachead, for someone in his mid 30's, you sure have a lot of growing up to do.
I thought Ca$h was bad enough, but you're in the exact same place that he is.

Oh, and I didn't vote, so you can't claim that I'm bad mouthing your precious GWB.

I respond in kind to the way people respond to me. If I'm speaking to a child, I'll reply like a child. If I'm speaking to a rude person, I'll reply with rudeness. If I'm speaking to a polite person, I will respond politely.

The ********* just called me a racist, something certain douches on the left like to often claim. I have no obligation to be civil back, and I don't really care what any lying loser thinks. Those people will recieve no politeness from me, and I do not wish them the best, nor do I care what happens to them.

Pachead, I would challenge you to find a post written by you to another member
(who's opinion differed from yours) that was polite, or would even be in the realm of politeness. And it was about politics, the war, Bush, Kerry, etc.

That I would put money on.

I've already made $50 dollars today, if you'd like to lose some pesos also, then I don't mind taking your money also.

I don't believe it would be a huge task to find one single post written by me to somebody on the other side which is polite. As an example Itai95 is somebody on the other side, who is not a douche. Therefore, my replies to him have been pretty much polite.
