Ouch, its 35 degrees and raining right now. I don't know how much more miserable it could possibly be. Gotta go to work now, too.

hate to break it to you, but it could be much more miserable than 35 and raining... here (northern New Jersey) right now it's 30 with a wind chill of 19, which strikes me as pretty warm for this time of year. I think last year (which was an especially cold winter for these parts) most of january was below 20 degrees, and even that's a pretty tame winter compared to minnesota (for instance).

where do you live?

Where are you?
If it's warm enough to rain there I envy you.

What's with you people?

Totally agree. I love the cold. As far as I am concerned we could skip summer and go straight from spring to fall to winter.

We are enjoying a snow storm at the moment here in Boston. Suppose to last until tomorrow. Possible 6 - 8".

I went out for walk in the snow earlier. Very nice, we had some flurries earlier in the day and everything looked nice and white again. Now I'm thinking about lighting a fire. You can keep your Oz summer. Probably hates our freedom, too

damn minnesota, a week ago i woke up to go to work and it was -9 F, felt like -22 if i remember. been a little warmer recently, now its 18 (no need for a jacket). Minnesota winters are the worst because tis too cold for snow, i love the winter but here its just icy and miserable. I want to move back east.

LOL, too funny. I'm sitting at my machine this morning looking out over my landscape. It's 3 F outside. I'm pumped up over the fact that it's above 0 F. We had 4" of new snow last night, and I'm off duty home with my family until 1/3/05. I would not give up this season for anything.

Warm weather is nice also.

I can't wait until January 1st. It's for an entirely different reason than the weather though.

Any condition under 92 degrees fahrenheit is unlivable for me.

actually i think my winters in North Dakota were alot worse then any Minnesota winter i have been thru because ND is so damn windy all the time.
