I just replaced our old G3/Appleshare IP 6.3 server with a G4/OSX Server 10.3 in our multiplatform office. From the PC's, all the network share points and users/groups work fine, but there is a problem with writing to files from applications such as AutoCad. The files will open, but once the file is saved, the application hangs for up to a minute, and then a prompt comes up saying "error writing/closing file" with an associated "Windows-Delayed Write Failed" message. It should be noted that this problem does not happen with Macs and also does not happen as much with smaller files on a PC. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.
