Whenever I try to send mail using .Mac, I get this error:
Operation could not be completed.
(MFMessageErrorDomain error 1035.)
Anybody else get this before? What did you do to fix it?

I've repaired permissions and it persists.
Connection doctor says sending and receiving is fine.
Console doesn't report any errors.

Your problem is related to mail certificates used to sign or to encrypt a message. You should open keychain (use spotlight) and then look for the certificate you are using. So:

1) the problem is related to .Mac certificate
2) the problem is in the keychain and related to .Mac certificate and its settings
3) double click on the certificate and set the correct (always trust) settings

That's it! Thank you thank you thank you! I just had to click on the little certificate star in new message windows to turn off the certificate, and I can send again!
