300bhp, 18" wheels, looks 99% like the concept (doesn't have the concept's fancy lights and usual concept bling). Nice!

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

I don't mean to sound like a hand knitted lentil muncher, but I don't get why in this day and age car companies don't concentrate on developing cars that are both fun to drive and environmentally sustainable. Give me the fastest, meanest bio diesel car on the planet and you'll make history. Develop a fuel cell that is actually working - although I believe that BMW is making huge strides in that field.
This is just another muscle car. Fun, I am sure, beautifully engineered too, but ground breaking? Not so much.

highstakes, this is the new WRX, its ugly and it's going to get ripped a new one by the Evo X on looks alone. Subaru have lost it recently. Link

Ok, the way you worded it confused me. It sounds like you're refuting it being called groundbreaking, rather than pointing out that its not.
Were you expecting it to be groundbreaking?

The new STi will probably beat it. It's a bit smaller and lighter, with slightly more power.
What really bothers me about the new evo though is the back end. It's absolutely awful. It's like somebody played 'pin the taillights on the car', and wound up putting them on the back about 4-5" too high.
Here:
I understand they were trying to continue the line from the door panels, but I think it looks like TOTAL ass. Worse than the new WRX, for sure. What boggles me is hte front end looks pretty awesome.

Being in debt and celebrating a lower deficit is like being on a diet and celebrating the fact you gained two pounds this week instead of five.

I'm still waiting for a environmentally friendly, small, convertible that looks great. You can find them, but most cost 80K+

The tesla isn't environmentally friendly.
If you want a small environmentally friendly convertable, I suggest one of these:
Older cars kept on the road longer are a better solution for the environment than building more new cars. In multiple studies I've read, new cars put out more pollution in their production stage than they ever do over their expected life cycles of up to 300,000 miles. Hence, buying an older car, fixing what is wrong with it, and driving it as long as possible to keep it out of the junkyard and keep you away from buying a new car is actually the most environmentally friendly solution.

Parking sucks in coupes. "Hey please watch the do-" >THWACK< "door... .. "
Or when you park on the street, and somebody opens the door ALL THE WAY so it's barely above the ground/curb/ice/snow/gravel/rocks, THEN GETS INTO THE CAR, which lowers it.
Ugh. Having large long doors sucks ass most of the time.

I'm guessing he rides alone. There are car people, who care about such things on their own car, and thus look out for yours, and then there are non car people, who just don't think about things like that. Ever. You could show up in a veyron and they'd still do the same ****.

i think it is the dumbass who parked next to a curb if i'm the on in the passenger seat and stuck in their little car*. sucks to be them when the door scrapes. buy an SUV/truck or park in a lot, not by the curb.
*if there is 3 or 4 people, i always sit behind the driver to avoid the problem. but if it is just two of us, well...then. can't help it. i'm fat.

Apparently you have just never been in a city, or in an environment that has lots of snowfall. MOst cities do not have parking lots on every block, and most cities also get lots of snow right next to the curb, both of which are unavoidable.
