All my menu extras are gone except for a third party one (weatherpop). All of the ones i used are still located in the correct folder, however none work. How do I regain this functionality?

You can turn them back on from their respective control panels/applications:

battery: energy saver
clock: date & time
monitors: monitors
sound: sound

chat: iChat
keychain: Keychain Access
