Does any one else think this is going to be amazing?

So stylish, so noir.. OMG. I don't know about the rest of you, but also have Bruce Willis in it is a big plus for me.

Has anyone read the comics?

I don't know much about Sin city, but I was thinking a "Sim City" movie would be pretty far out. With the small guy with the glasses who appeared in the SNES version, he could be like the main star. Yea, not a bad idea at all.

It's not a comic, it's a movie, live action at that. So why the hell do we need the grotesquely bizarre face.

Doesn't work for me.

I think Bruce Willis should star in SimCity 4000. A story of a young mayor who builds his city in 3 hours and forgets to save.

I imagine that it will be pretty good with Bruce Willis and Elijah Wood.

Ahh, that trailer makes my tongue hard. Will definitely make sure I see that.

Makes me wish life was in black in white with li'l bits of exagerrated colorization here and there.

Check it, bro':
www.elektrathemovie.com

Stars Jennifer Garner, who I can't seem to decide is hot or not. It has some elements of Elektra: Assassin, and hopefully is way better than Daredevil was.

As for Sin City....I'm looking forward to it, along with all the other comic-based movies coming out next year (especially Batman Begins)!

What, no Affleck in the Elektra flick? I suppose that answers whether or not she died in Daredevil.

90% of movie stars are about as hot as the pretty girl you see in the street

jennifer garner looks about the same as most pretty white chicks.

there are definately a few celebrities that are overwhelmingly beautiful. IMO, heather locklear is one.

I watched the trailer on big screen and it was amazing. I like the casts as well. Clive Owen is cool.. but NOT Elijah Wood.

Elijah Wood = Annoying

I got real tired of him in "Return of the King," but man, was he real annoying in "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" (great film, BTW).

The stylish hyper-contrast look is a must see. Blood spurts out glowing white, limbs are severed with alarming frequency, eunuchs are forcibly made. It's glorious.

I thought it was great. This is how a comic should be put on the screen.

Mickey Rourke has undone the years of harm he's done to movie making with this role. Clive Owen is incredible.

This ones a keeper.

I saw a program about the making of "Sin City" and it was very cool. I love how they decided to make a movie that represented the art without compromise. It was B&W, and from the clips I saw, it is right on the money. Very cool.

Actually it has been done. It's the same technique used in Sky Captain but in black and white and taking the graphic novel as its storyboard. Even Sky Captain wasn't the first. People say 'never been done before' when they haven't watched enough movies. They've been doing this in Japan and China for a few years now.

It's still people beating each other up. I prefer The Crow.

lol. the visual stylings of sin city is incredibly different then what was done in sky captain and the world of tommorow. the way this movie was shot is completely unique to frank miller's novels. but nice try.

btw the crow sucks.

Are you kidding? The technological hurdles were amazingly bounded over -- the way snow and rain were shown, the way the bricks and mortar were reversedly displayed in light and night, in general the effects were new.

It's been done very well but the Chinese and Japanese have already been doing it.

Just remembered one thing that I can say. The Japanese manga XIII had the same look, graphic and high contrast black and white. Originally the game adaptation had the same look but the developers went for full color cartoon glory because it was too adult.
