You see, this is the kind of theme that apple WOULD have come up with if they had just done one more mockuip session. But nnoOoooOo, they had to go with this stupid streetlights and stopsigns metaphor... So lame.
Someone once said that XP was created with Crayola Crayons... Aqua was made with that wooden train track set...

This theme is very pro looking. Non-distracting, and still has the same spirit as aqua (sans water and streetlights.)
Please, whom ever is working on this, please finish it before tiger comes out. I really don't want the new look...

Anyway,

R

I'm about to solicit someone to once again try and complete this theme for me. So far, two people have said yes and both have promptly shown me nothing. Any one else want to give it a shot?

wow, i haven't seen this thread until now. looks great! especially love the diagonal stripes... all the other little bits are great as well.

there seems to be quite a few themes for Windows that have those sorts of diagonal stripes, it would be great to see some themes like that for OS X... can't wait.

I know the theme is being worked on still.. You have to remember that we also have 'life' that gets in the way of themeing some/most days. We have made a couple of variations to see how certain elements would look and how the overall theme would flow. Please be patient...

Well, I haven't seen anything. And since I'm the designer it would be nice to keep me informed of the progress.

This is sad. It looks like such a nice theme yet I don't think it's still alive.

Unfortunately no one that took this project on for me ever went anywhere with it. So, if anyone wants to take on this project again, please email me.

I've posted a request at macthemesforums.net, where a lot of good Mac themers can be found. I hope you don't mind, wagmedia--it's just that I'd really like to see this theme fully realized. Maybe you can register there and solicit responses yourself; there are some good themers there.

It also appears that some of the members of the group who last volunteered to work with you are registered there--maybe you can get them to give the unfinished parts to someone else there who can finish it soon.

Here's a link to the thread I started at macthemes forums:

This is still the most perfect gui I have ever seen, even if if it is just a single window.. It just screams "functionality" - perfect for professional application; and it's so stylish.

Wag- It looks way better than even the very latest MacOSX, mate. Can anyone disagree with that?

I so agree. Whoever has those pesky PSD files, give'em up! Let someone else take the job!

Shweesh already!

This is nearly a two and a half years old thread. So why don't you finish it yourself?

I would have finished this myself long ago if someone would have coughed up the PSD files...

I guess because I'm patient.

I know it will come around - you just can't keep a good theme down.. right??

RYB is so good it deserves its very own operating system..

Perhaps someone could suggest a "for now" aternative for me?
