haha.. it looks like a computer mouse in the other way around. The side of it doesn't look that good, but sometimes it's hard to judge. Sometimes I feel like that cars don't look good in autoshows, but manage to get away with it on the streets.

I think the new 3 series look very nice!!! The 6 series is a disgrace.... making an ugly car bigger can only end in it looking even worse!!
I mean.... who designed the front end???

I hate the look of the current 6-series.
The front of the X6 doesn't look too bad, though.

They do, but that one (in the OP) is not one of them. Ugliest Beamer ever. Ick.
MacinTommy’s Audi is pretty damn fine, though. Always liked them Audis (the A6s and A8s, anyway).

I agree completely (Beamer or Beemer are not words, at all—Bimmer should properly used for both cars and MCs, and it should ideally be written BiM’er, not Bimmer, if you want to get really pedantic), for more geeky purposes; but in regular, non-closed slang, I’d use Beamer over Bimmer any day, since it’s the only one that’s in common use.
No. It's actually "Beemer".
A = ay
B = be
~
M = em.
BMW. BM. Be Em. Beemer.
Most BMW aficionados claim that Beemer/Beamer refers only to the (original) BMW motorcycles, while cars should be called Bimmers.
Unfortunately, they tend to supplant the history of the latter word with folk etymologies. Bimmer doesn’t come from just BM (as Beemer does), but from BiMW’er (the long [i:] of the spoken-out B being shortened due to the syllable being closed). The two terms are about the same age, but to some of us, Beemer/Beamer is the ‘less pure’ of the two, so to speak, since it was mainly coined to rhyme with Beeser (BSAs, which has an open syllable and no vowel-shortening). Like I said above, in regular speech, I wouldn’t really give a damn—I call them Beamers pretty consistently in English, ’cause that’s the name I hear the most. In Danish, however, I’m more of a pedant, and I call all BMWs, cars and motorcycles alike, Bimmers, never Beamers.
(P.S.: I’m not a BMW aficionado, just an etymology freak )

In local slang, "Bimmer" is a little... ...ummm... ...brutal. The way the word sounds just has something uncouth and negative about it.
Thus, locally (and I'm probably meaning the whole of England north of Watford) "Bimmer" tends to get used for any BMW product when you're talking negatively about it, while "Beemer" gets used when speaking positively.
Thus: "I like your Beemer, dude" or "this Bimmer is a rust bucket".
That's generally the way it works around here.

That’s probably why Beamer is the one most often heard, too: people tend to be proud of their BMWs, so they wouldn’t call them the ‘bad’ name. Come to think of it, I’m not sure I’ve ever even heard a non-aficionado call a BMW a Bimmer in (UK) English... or maybe I have, and I just wasn’t paying much attention.

i kind of like this one. it and the 6 series are the best takes on bangle's flame styling or whatever he calls it.
i like how it appears to have a thin waist, kind of like an aston. who doesn't like feminine curves?
i still think it'd be pretty hot if they just dropped it to make a four door coupe like the cls or the upcoming rapide or panamera. probably screw up the packaging royally though.

The car is named after a bull that apparently killed a famous bullfighter in the old days. I read that from the press.

Unless one has driven a Murcielago, one probably couldn't hate on it too hard with much credibility.
I'd rather be going 180 MPH in a Audi-owned Lambo than 180 MPH in some philips-head-screwed-together-interior'd Countach.
Although the Countach is the one I'd have the girls doing coke in, cause it wipes right off the leather, whereas the modern lambo has the suede all over, making a mess.(i'd imagine)
