What is interesting to me is that right now, the poll results are:

iMac [233 MHz] (Bondi Blue) - 50% (2 votes)
iMac [266 MHz] (Five Flavors) - 25% (1 vote)
iMac/iMacDV [350, 400 MHz] (Slot Loading CD-ROM) - 25% (1 vote)
iMac [350, 400, 450, 500 MHz] (Summer of 2000) - 25% (1 vote)

What does that add up to in your world?

Just got my flat panel imac today.

They are truly awesome.

I am very impressed with it.

I went for the cdrw model, as I wanted a fast cdrw (this one is 24x whereas the combo and super are 12x).

Its very quiet too - which is a different experience from owners of the combo drive and superdrive models, interestingly enough.

It is nice to see that there is a bunch of people who have the new LCD imac. But the LCD, will never beat my Bondi blue imac, hehehe

that thing is like such a CRT iMac ripoff with an LCD!
and I don't think they got the point of a flat monitor. It's not supposed to take up as much space as a CRT!

Like serious looks like they stuck the internals right behind the hard drive, it's basically looks like a slightly less deep iMac, running windows.
and in ugly gateway grey and white.

Sigh, I sometimes I feel sorry for the people who ignorantly bought PCs that they can't love and cherish... then I remember... if I tell them I have a Mac they say as if by second nature
"Macs suck"

I agree though, I love OS X, but 8.6 on the Bondi is just so very nice. Networked, it's almost like having a 2nd monitor, with it's own keyboard, mouse and all

I'm looking to replace my iMac DV/SE with something new. I *wanted* a high-end iMac or PBG4, but the price of the eMac makes it affordable, ya know, in the present. We'll see... sigh...
