Since I've migrated to Sierra and iOS 10, I've notice that my 7 Plus won't vibrate on my desk if Messages is running on my Mac. The result is that sometimes I don't notice I got a message. It's possible that the message popped up in notifications, but if I had been in a full screen view or maybe looking intently at another monitor, I'll just miss the message.

Is there a way to ensure that I get message notification when Messages is on with the computer? I know it's a tough one because if I'm chatting on Messages a bunch, I don't need my phone to vibrate every time. It would be nice if it vibrated however if Messages was not the foreground application.
