I've got a company MacBook that my not-so-computer-savvy has given me to use.
I know it has the most recent version of Yosemite installed,
but I'm not sure what model MacBook it is...
I keep getting an unfamiliar error when trying to access the internet.
It has been so long since I've been to any forums that I've forgotten how to upload a photo,
but the message reads:

RouterOS v5.22
You have connected to a router. Administrative access only.
If this device is not in your possession,
please contact your local network administrator.

I've never seen this before and I'm using wifi.
And I've been to three different houses with internet.

I can get on facebook, but I can't open any links.
I can't get to my web-based hotmail email account,
but I was able to configure the MacBook's mail accounts,
though I was never able to send or receive an email.

Thanks for your help!

RouterOS is a real product from MikroTik, wikipedia entry here.

If you're getting this from different houses, either the router in question has excellent range (all the houses close together), or it is traveling with you as part of your MacBook. Earlier Mac Book Pros include expansion card slots. Perhaps your Mac came with a card already plugged in?

You can find your general Mac model from Apple Menu -> About This Mac. Click the button for More Info to open the profiler, which will have exact model ID info.

With a little help from my brother and Google, I was able to determine it was my Firefox Browser that wasn't compatible with Yosemite!! I had to completely uninstall Firefox and then install Firefox V33 for Yosemite and now everything works like a charm.
