If your temperatures get too high, the computer automatically shuts itself down. So don't worry about your temps.

Hi!
For what it's worth, here are my results:
CPU A Die Temperature 68.2℃
CPU B Die Temperature 69.9℃
Drive Bay 28.0℃
Main Logic Board Backside 31.6℃
Memory Controller Heatsink 63.4℃
Processor Card A Ambient 31.2℃
Processor Card B Ambient 31.2℃
SMART Disk ST3300831AS (3NF03QAK) 41.0℃
SMART Disk ST3200822AS (3LJ1FEGZ) 45.0℃
SMART Disk ST3200822A (3LJ1NG2P) 34.0℃
This is on a Dual 1.8. The first two hard drives are S-ATA in the standard slots, the third one is an ATA cramped on top of the optical drive and hooked to the same controller (and spinned down at the moment). The machine is running 24/7 and sporting an overclocked Radeon 9600XT, but not under heavy load at the time of testing.

I think you're fine. I agree that the memory controller heatsink is a bit high, but it's not danger high - IIRC, 85°C is the danger point. The others look very good - my HD in particular is much hotter than that. Of course, it's an iMac G5, so the cooling is somewhat more complicated.

CPU A Die Temperature 57.4℃
CPU B Die Temperature 54.8℃
Drive Bay 26.5℃
Main Logic Board Backside 17.5℃
Memory Controller Heatsink 72.8℃
Processor Card A Ambient 19℃
Processor Card B Ambient 19℃
The MemControllerHeatsink is always this high, never below 72-73. The machine is dead quiet even with several apps open. Today the room is a little warmer because of the sun and I hear the fans whirring now more than the last 1,5 week...
