Anyone Order iKit Carbon iPad 2 Case?

Ordered an iKit Carbon case for iPad 2 on 3/22 .. credit card charged immediately through PayPal.

Supposedly was gonna ship on 3/25 .. but no confirmation sent and no tracking number.

No communication from them whatsoever .. just a "receipt" from PayPal.

A quick search shows folks in the iLounge forums having similar problems last summer. Mother-F'ers... Never been burned before by an accessories vendor. iLounge even gave their product a good review (B+) and recommended it.

Anyone else order from them? Did you get what you paid for? How long did it take?



I hope I'm just being impatient, but I've got a sick feeling about this one. Thank God if I get screwed, it was only $30.

I just purchased the sam case as you last week and same here. Waiting for their shipping confirmation eamil... I called them during office hours and out of office hours but line just said it's busy. I also read the review from ilounge and decided to trust the source and place my order... I think we should report and complain to ilounge...

Hallo,

Here the Same Problem.... I have ordered One (from Germany), i don't get any Shipping Mail. I have ordered on 3/29 and get just a Mail about the Order. I have Wrote a Mail too at [email protected], about two dass ago, but do Not get an answer. I bought it cause of the Lounge article.......

Hope it will Be shipped, Not so much for the Money, but don't want that my "babe" get any scratches

Okay, so I was impatient. The package arrived today via U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail. Still, it's inexcusable for iKit to offer no communication or feedback whatsoever... Even after an e-mail to their customer service contact. It's a sh!tty way to do business. Then again, what do I know? I'm just a customer.

It totally is. The iLounge review was spot-on. It looks fantastic, but the rubber portions are a little on the flimsy side. All in all, I'm pleased. Just disappointed by iKit's lack of common courtesy.

As a side note, someone from iKit created an account on the iLounge forums and explained a "Customs problem" was the holdup. Of course that doesn't explain the lack of communication. Other iLounge Forums posters also started to receive their shipments yesterday.

If I saw their stuff in a store, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. I doubt I'd order from them online though.
