I just thought this video was not a bad nostalgic summary of email in the last 25 years. It is an ad, but interesting nonetheless.

Ah, the memories of text-based email, and Mozilla/Netscape...

The thread title had me confused for the longest time. “What? Can Yahoo! Mail really be 25 years old? That can’t be true.”

I didn't need the whole video to feel nostalgic, just the last 5 seconds with the old modem sounds. Uchh, how I hated (and still hate) AOL and its ultra clunky slowness.

I still hear the modem sounds every time I send a fax. Fax technology hasn't changed in the last 15 years it seems.

Yeah, maybe the title should just be "25 years of email". (Yahoo is only a dozen years old.)
