Assign AppleScripts to F keys?

I was just wondering if it were possible to assign AppleScripts to the F keys. I want to assign a few of the included scripts so I don't have to use the script menu.

I use Keyboard Maestro for that exact purpose. Although it says shareware, there's a free version included. Enjoy.

As does YoupiKey- my favorite.
