My university uses Kerberized LDAP authentication for our OS X machines. Apparently, this login option no longer exists in Tiger. According to some people I've talked to, this was done in order to push Active/Open Directory solutions. Can anyone confirm this? Anyone know a way of reenabling the feature? Anyone else as flabbergasted by Apple's move? This really sucks, as it's set our Tiger deployment behind by months, as we try to setup a separate OS X login mechanism.

Where did you hear that this doesn't exist? From playing with Tiger Server, this appears to still be the default.
