I am having a problem, when I have a folder with a list of files, I hold the control key to select random ones, in VMWare I can only select 1, or hold shift and select a few in sequence, but holding control does not let me select random ones via the mouse? Anyone have a solution?

Figured it out... Had to turn off "Enable Mac OS mouse shortcuts" in preferences, works perfect now!

I tried the tip but it did not work for me. When I disabled it, then the control key and clicking the pad brought up the right mouse.

Could it be because I set up the bottom right of the pad to be the right click.

Any suggestions are appreciated. I miss the Control key functionality.

I found a combination that worked. In addition to disabling the Mac OS mouse shortcuts, I also had to go in and turn off the secondary button, which was set to include the control button.
