Dictionary app takes time to open on MBP

Anyone else experiencing delay of a few secs before Dictionary windows appears on the screen, each time it is being run?

Only happens to Dictionary.

MBP 17" C2D, Intel SSD, latest Mac OS X.

I have the same on my Mac Pro!

It seems slower since the move to 10.6 from 10.5.

Looks like it happens to others too. Here's a dirty fix that, albeit temporarily, but does the trick:

Apple - Support - Discussions - Dictionary consistently slow to startup ...
