AppleInsider says that an eMac replacement may be in the works. CRTs are no longer an option. (For one thing, they're illegal to sell in the EU, if I am not mistaken) Keeping this (and cost) in mind, what would you put into the eMac replacement?

CPU (Intel, but which one?)
RAM (how much how fast?)
Display (not CRT, how big?)
HDD (how big, how fast?)
What would it look like?

Personally, I would like to see something like the Mac Mini, except with desktop-sized RAM, HDD, Logicboard, and disk drive. 80GB HDD, 512MB DDR2-533 (with support for dual channel and 667), core Duo Solo or Duo, and a 15" LCD. It would look quite a bit like the iMac. Combo Drive would be available in one model, SuperDrive in another.

Well, Eug made some guesses in this thread, which I started when that AI story came out a month ago...
