I just bought a 512mb PC133 SDRAM DIMM and tried installing it in my eMac. While System Profiler reports that there is in fact SDRAM in the slot, the "size" field is blank.

The specs on the RAM all seem to match up. Is there something I'm missing?

it might be a high density stick... there for it'll only work on VIA and I think SIS motherboards... sadly, both are AMD or Intel chipsets.

Where did you get the RAM? I just stuck 1GB of Crucial RAM in my eMac and it is working great. You might also just have a bad stick of RAM.
