I can see their slogan now...

None of those airlines serve any place I'm likely to want to go. I can go just about anywhere on Continental, Northwest, or TWA.

If I go some place I don't necessarily want to go, I'm likely to go on American Trans Air...

American Trans Air...
Following their bankruptcy about 2 years ago, many of their routes (especially out of Chicago) were bought by Southwest Airlines. ATA is a shell of its former self.

Except for Air Koryo, none of the people dear to me are likely to fly with any of them.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

Air India sucks sour monkey ass. If I had a choice between taking their airline or swimming across the Atlantic to get to my next destination, I'll be strapping on the goggles and dive headfirst into the chilly waters.

Phuket is pronounced Pooh-ket so the slogan doesn't work.

Also, Rainman said Qantas, not Quantas.

I think an internal flight on Air China or something like was scary (and this was just after 9/11). Right after buying the tickets, every person in line went over and boughts lots of flight insurance.

Vietnam Air is also a little dodgy when you see some seats with English instructions, some with Russian, some with French and some with nothing.

This is a computer-generated message and needs no signature.

I thought American still ran some of TWA's old routes as TWA... I haven't needed those particular routes in a long time, so I guess I lost track. They sure did treat me right when I flew with them though.

ATA was one of the primary "contract carriers" for the Department of Defense...which means that they flew people to places they didn't necessarily want to go. For example, they flew my family and me to Panama in the late 1980s. Yuck. Since ATA's bankruptcy (and actually before that) a lot of other carriers have stood up to provide the air service DoD needs, so mentioning ATA is really just a not to the past-though a LOT of people probably understand when you say "I flew ATA, but it wasn't my choice."
