Scientists creating "Frankenbunny" or human + rabbit.

I think it's an abomination and to do it claiming that it is for medicine is ridiculous.

I'm starting to think about that movie The Fly with Jeff Goldblum and what eventually happens.

First off, I'd figure this may not be viable.
Second sounds like they're doing it so they can create a loophole.

Apparently it's going to be 99.9% human and .1% rabbit, and they'll only allow it to grow for 14 days.

"Hey Frank, wanna go and shoot some pool tonight?"
"Nah, I'm going to fuse human and rabbit genes. For no good reason."
"Cool. Count me in."

Or, alternatively:

"If we learn how to do this with animal eggs, we should be able to have more success with human eggs, and I'd much rather know that if we were going to ask women to donate eggs that we were very likely to get stem cells as a result," said Chris Shaw, at the Institute of Psychiatry.

And here I thought Bush must have been out of his mind when he warned that we were sliding down a slippery slope toward the creation of human-animal hybrids.

Why cats, I wonder? I'm not about to complain or question, but I've always been curious as to where the feline association came from.

I think cats are generally regarded as the female companion, whereas dogs are the male.

So I look forward to cat-girl on dog-guy porn.

Nasty! I actually saw her from a distance on 65th street once and thought she was wearing a mask. Got closer and was horrified to discover it was "real".
