Using it now... very usable. And not distracting at all. I hate desktops that have BRITE or obnoxious colors near the two side of the desktop pic. Your image is in the middle. The only time it's seen (distraction) is when there is nothing going on.
Very well designed.
I guess "think greener" can be taken various ways. I am not a "save the earth!" type of guy though.
I always try to keep any political or religious images or text out of my desktops so that it doesn't alienate anyone that may want to download it.
