Dude, I was coming to post this, too. Man, he was an awesome actor. I loved him in 2010, and -- of course -- Jaws.

An iconic 70s/early 80s actor. He left his mark on the world.. may he rest in peace.

I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

Crap. I really liked his work, from "All That Jazz" to "Jaws" to "2010"... He's the only reason I'd consider watching "The Punisher"... Damn. What a loss.
Thanks Roy, for everything...

I remember him from SeaQuest DSV.
I still like him, though.

Ah yes, the AirWolf of the silver screen.
I dunno how old I was when that came out, but I do remember that nude scene.

Ditto. Loved him in Jaws, 2010 and even the occasionally cringe-worthy SeaQuest DSV. R.I.P.

He was great for sure. I still wish SeaQuest wouldn't have sucked.

What a big loss for the big screen. I loved everything I ever saw him in. He was great in 2010 as Heywood Floyd. But I loved in Blue Thunder. Him and his partner with the JAFO hat. What a great movie.

Joxer the Mighty
He's very tidy
Everyone admires him
He's so handsome it's a sin
When things get grim
He'll take it on the chin
If you're in jeopardy
Caused by the enemy
Don't call the cavalry
There's a better remedy
(Although he doesn't work for free!)
He's every man's trusty,
He's every woman's fantasy,
Plus he's goo-oood company
Look out! He's Joxer--
Joxer the Mighty!
Joxer the Mighty!!!
Oh wait, wrong show. Ted Raimi's funny.

You notice he didn't stay with it after it looked like it would continue to suck... Smart man.

Well I remember he didn't help much when the show did suck as the other actors mentioned he would walk around on the set reading the script saying out loud "This sucks" making the morale on the show rather low.
And for the record the show sucked from the start and he stuck around for 3 seasons no?

Two or three seasons. From what I understand, he seems to have been trying to get the producers' attention about the direction of the show. And they didn't listen so he left.

Blue Thunder rocked. There were great quotes from it too: "He checks his sanity with a stopwatch." "What do you use, a dipstick?" And "This thing is as nose heavy as the Ayatola." "We're 'following his leader.'" "Look up, look down. Look left, look right. JAFO." Wonderful stuff.

And now... remember what JAFO stood for? I want one of these hats!
