I have decided to get a new (to me) game after Mothership Zeta drops for Fallout 3. Now is your chance to sway my decision.

I picked my list of 6 games from games that interested me, games I've heard about here, and games that get high ratings on Metacritic.

Even when you vote still tell me why you are suggesting said game as I tend to be a fairly picky gamer.

Jesus, I wish Fable II got this much DLC. Should have made it multiple choice.

What's your preference, multi or single player type game?

Well I own mostly multi games, and I just dumped months into a single-player game.

Soo....

I'd say something with good multi is a plus, but not a necessity. Nowadays I tend to only play with people I know when it comes to multi...

I voted Red Faction, only because if I was buying a game right now that's what I'd pick up.

All glory to the hypnotoad.

Alright, well, I'll let you sort it out then.

I'll recommend either Burnout: Paradise or Fable II.
I won't list all of Burnout's strengths, but obviously the multi improves with the more people we know, and the single-player can be time-consuming both in good or bad ways. It's cheap, though you should probably spend at $10 on the Island.

Fable is also a great game, which I liken to a mature Link meets a MMORPG. It can also be a huge time sink, depending how crack addicted you get to earning gold and renown while doing side-quests and or leveling up.

At the bottom of my list of recs would be CoD and Red Faction. CoD seems dumb to buy. Come 4 months we'll probably all be cracking out on a better version. Red Factions multi got great reviews, but none of us own it, and the single-player has been panned.

The remaining two I have no opinion on.

The game, not your girlfriend's.

The thought of singing a duet with Dakar online sends shivers down my spine.

Unless, do they have Sonny and Cher?

I should make a thread called "Pick a new game for Jawbone54" and fill it all with 360 exclusives.

I'm voting for...Burnout Paradise

for two reasons
1. Its awesome, the amount of hours you can dump into this game is insane, not to mention multiplayer which is by far the best racing multiplayer in a long time. Also me and dakar have spent HOURS doing really nothing (no races/missions but just crazy s****). You will love this game and it will consume your life, for 20$ plus 10$ for Big Surf Island, there is no way you will get this many hours of awesome gameplay with 30$ anywhere else

2. I would vote Mass Effect because of its INSANE reviews, but i've played it and i hate it. Fallout 3 smokes it in gameplay and size and truthfully i felt it was boring with no story that i gave a s**** about.

Yes.

I wasn't a huge fan of racing games but Burnout Paradise is just way too awesome. Bogues is right, you can spend hours just messing around the city and still have tons of fun.

That's why I chose Burnout. It's the cheapest one of the bunch.

Burnout Paradise, there's lots of DLC, its got good single and multi player games, and you will have these words stuck in your head...

Take me down to the Paradise City
where the grass is green and the girls are pretty
Oh, won't you please take me home?
Take me down to the Paradise City

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

No Nazi Zombies and it's getting replaced by it's sequel come November. I find it foolish to buy CoD4 this late in the game.

The "Point Lookout" add-on is such a cool idea. We went there for vacation a few years ago when I was back East.

No primary experience with those on the list, although my wife likes Mass Effect.
