Let me know if you're interested and about what price. I just got a Dual G5 so I'm willing to sell it quickly, though I can wait if need be.

Its a Dual 1.25 Ghz MDD FW800.
A 120GB 8MB Cache ATA133 HD.
A 80GB ATA100 HD.
1.25GB RAM from Crucial.
SuperDrive (retail)
Combo drive (OEM)

ATI 9000 OEM graphics card.

Just post here. I'm in Austin if anybody wants local delivery.

$1400 sounds really low.

That's a sweet setup you got there.

I'm not in the market but if I was I would probably offer.....$16-1700 which may still be a bit low. You have a lot of nice extras.

Honestly, you may be better of selling the G4 in a stock config and then sell the ram and HD seperately.

$1400 IS pretty low for this stuff.

I'd keep the RAM and such if it wasn't for the fact that none work with my G5 very well

hehe.. I have a similar spec as you do.

Dual 1.25Ghz (FW800)
1280MB Crucial RAM,
2x 120GB WesternDigital 8mb cache HD
1x 80GB Seagate HD (Apple OEM)
combo and ATI Radeon 9000 Pro.

When the G5 just out.. I checked the local newspaper.. and The Seattle Mac Store offered up-to $1500 to trade-in for the G5.

I assumed the $1500 is for the stock DP 1.42Ghz model. I thought it is a good deal... but until I read your guys comments.

Would you consider selling your MDD G4 without the SuperDrive and 120GB HD?

I'd consider selling it all separately if I can still sell all the pieces.

However, I think that the whole package is a better deal, frankly.

But...give me a bid. I'm not in a rush or anything, but of course it all be nice to get it done sooner rather than later.

How about $1600? I need to replace my PC, I am using my powerbook all the time and I don't like having it on 24/7 - I am very interested in this, lets make a deal. If you want, pm me your phone number and I will call you.

Thanks,
Jon Drew
