I'm using a Logitech keyboard WITHOUT their drivers. As such the only thing I have to do to make it work for my needs is go to the Keyboard control panel and change the modifer keys so that the CMD/Option keys work properly. But when I undock (i.e. unplug USB cables) obviously the keys are incorrectly mapped on my MBP's keyboard.

So I just go in and reset the modifier keys. No big deal, but I'd love it if I could automate this somehow. I've looked at Automator (as much as I love the idea I can't seem to find any uses for it yet) and AppleScript, but I'm not very familiar with them.

So any free ideas?
