Owns company paid over half a billion dollars by the CIA.
Owns second most important print media outlet in the country.
There's obvious conflict of interest questions there even without the part where the Post just happens to have gotten themselves a direct line to an endless stream of secret squirrel shit right when El Presidente kicked the hornet nest.
After seeing both men, if Gianforte had "bodyslammed" the reporter, it's likely the reporter wouldn't have gotten up, at least not for a while. Congressman Gianforte is a big guy, if he'd slammed Ben Jacobs to the ground it would have caused some damage and not just broken his glasses. Also, Jacobs was a former DNC staffer, he was no neutral party, at all.

I don't think the Post reporters needed Bezos to get sources. Particularly when the IC hates Trump.
Maybe she should just have stuck to hitting on him for visiting Saudi Arabia at all after his campaign speeches about getting tough on the supporters and backers of so called Islamic Terrorism.
Or maybe he was doing it alphabetically and he just thought that Arabia was Saudi's last name?
This space for Hire! Reasonable rates. Reach an audience of literally dozens!
I know right? The comments on that video are frightening. Do they really not understand that she was telling a (not particularly funny) joke?
One would have to be a beyond dim to believe she was being serious!
Allow me to propose an alternate theory.
What she meant to say was something along the lines of "Trump could have picked countries alphabetically and done a better job".
Instead, she said what she said, and it was utterly incomprehensible.
While any given person's intelligence will enter into how they interpret an incomprehensible statement, I posit whether the person has a dagger or an olive branch in their hand is just as important, if not moreso.

I think one would have to be blind with hatred to see it for anything the it obviously was. I think Trump is a bafoon who is absolutely terrible for the country and, to no small extent, the world. But I'm not so blinded by hatred to believe he doesn't know Israel is in the middle east.
Nothing she said squares with the idea that she expects diplomatic trips to happen in alphabetical order. You know that. Anyone with an ounce of intellectual integrity knows that. It wasn't incomprehensible, It was a joke. A poorly delivered joke, but a joke.

I had to think about it for a long time... I watched it right when it was posted here and it took me until this afternoon to put it together.
Edit: You like Pelosi? Really? I think the only politician I can say that I genuinely like is Rand Paul.

So social justice morons claimed that the rebel flag was bad to display in public, "if people want to see them they can go to museums", they said. Well, apparently even having them in museums is too much.
By degrees history is going to be erased, and regressives on the Left will rejoice. Soon they can craft a world where no one can be offended, a world so pathetic and sheltered only SJWs themselves will want to live in it. This is why you should never capitulate to ideologues. Even if you're against everything such symbols stand for, completely removing them from a society will only serve to make that society forget, dooming them to repeat the mistakes of the past.

The bots were out in force on Reddit last night. I expect some punches get thrown today. CNN's already started, and it just turned 7 AM on the east coast.
Pretty sure at this point the only people watching CNN are those who want their bias reinforced. Their viewership is so low, they can almost address each of them by name. I can't even fathom how they're able to pay their utility bills.

It also highlights how much like Muslim extremists the intolerant Social Justice Warriors/Democrats have become.
I understand conceptually the softening of the blow, but there's no way to spin Reince being removed as CoS as anything less than a rebuke of his abilities.

Bzzzzzzt!
Looks as if in the jungle, the mighty jungle, the IC sleeps tonight.
All I'll say about Kathy Griffin is if she's going to go there, the "I support gore" subhead was clever.
The elite on the Left are apparently trying to incite violence now. Griffin can say and do what she wants, she has freedom of expression, but there will be repercussions for her and those like her. When even Al Franken condemns you for being sick and distasteful towards the president, you know you've done seriously ****ed up.

The 'elite on the left?' Really? She's a two bit comedian who has made a career out of 'crossing the line' for attention.
But a 'liberal elite'? Come on, you may enjoy her comedy, but would she have the notariety she does if it wasn't for her pushing the envelope? She may be polically liberal, it she calling her an elite is absurd. She's basically famous for taking her clothes off, perving on younger men, getting drunk and cursing on CNN's NYE, while telling jokes. Am I wrong here? Do any of the liberals on the board look to her as some kind of political crusader? Really, it's the equivalent of calling Toby Keith a 'conservative elite.'

Full disclosure: a fan who's seen her live a bunch of times.
I never said "liberal elite". To be liberal you must support individual liberties, and modern collectivism is antithetical to that. You can't be for limited speech (even hate speech is protected under the Constitution) and be liberal at the same time. So while I'm disgusted by Griffin's actions, I was equally repulsed by Nugent's comments about Obama, I fully support her right to perform them without fear of prosecution.

Find+replace 'liberal elite' with 'elite on the left' and what you said is still stupid. She's a comedian who only makes the news when she does something 'outrageous.' She's not any kind of elite nor is her behaviour representative of any movement of any political persuasion.
As for Nugent, the 'elite on the right' don't seem to have an issue with him. Best go review your talking points.
