Guess the powers that be didn't want their dirty laundy hanging out to dry. I noted how he was even told by whatever mod that it was that he was not to tell anyone.

I have no clue if AI is indeed gone or whatnot, but appleinsider.com now points to macnn's homepage so I would assume it is all gone now.

But why does it matter to you that you bumped a 6 month old thread?

Hey, this guy, "Macintosh" was a menace over at AI for the longest time. He was banned there, too, presumably for his "Mastergater" alias which broke several rules- enumerated and just plain old ones inherent to being a human. Glad to see he's gone from here too.

MacNN.com used to own the rights to the domain appleinsider.com but it was bought by SlapTech back in October. Appleinsider has info. about it posted on their site at http://www.appleinsider.com/article.php?id=105. For some reason, if you type appleinsider.com or http://appleinsider.com it still directs you to www.macnn.com. However, www.appleinsider.com correctly goes to the site.

Even though this is a revival of an old (6 months!) topic, please note that "Macintosh" has been banned almost everywhere for being a general butt-hole. He's like the personification of MOSR only with a hidden agenda. That agenda seems to be to spread discord and bogus rumors, kinda like a human virus.

The Admin over at AI, a guy named Brad (and having over 43000 posts!) when commenting on this thread said this:

"Anyhow, that thread is completely unsubstantiated "pulled-it-out-of-my-ass" bull."

This is the lounge and I was searching for information and this link came up. I just thought it was very interesting that someone was banned and the content was edited by the staff! I hadn't ever seen that anyone else had gotten actually banned before, so I was curious what would cause the banning of someone who posted over 900 times (MacNN does get paid for impressions of the ads, I imagine).
