My friend just got an iMacG5, that came with a MS Office Test Drive (demo) installed. The thing is, she got afterwards the full version, and now she cannot delete some files from the demo
The Finder says that those files are still open and/or in use. Fortunately most of those files were fonts, so I was able to use them to replace the other fonts found in the full version, leaving me with one set of fonts instead of two. But for the rest of the files we couldn't find a match to do the same.

The Full version comes with a file called "Remove Office", the problem is that the demo doesn't. And one cannot use it for the demo, as it'll only recognize the Full version.

What could we do?!!

Thanks in advance,

DPC

The demo also comes with a remove tool in the Office folder.

I believe the Office test drive is a separate package on the last system CD. You can probably extract the remove tool using Pacifist from there.

Tetenal, thank you so much for the info
I visited your page too, very nice utilities you have made

I'll give a try to the Pacifist for sure.
