I have an iMac G4 Superdrive which i bought brand new six months ago. I got up one morning and had a blank screen so I restarted and after the boot up chime the screen flashed this dark blue color and thats it. I have tried starting up in Safe Mode, Fsk, tried the hardware test, the OSX repair disk..and it won't read anything! Is this a hardware issue or software? If its software..how do I fix it considering it won't read anything I put in the cd drive. I hear it running, but the screen stay blank. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Did you try to reset the PRAM? hold-down command-option-P-R during startup.

If it still does not boot, try to go in Open Firmware (command-option-O-F), and enter the following commands (try it even is the screen stays blank after 10 sec) :

reset-nvram
reset-all
boot
