Is there anyway to select a bunch of songs in the library and delete them instead of having to delete each song individually?

Yes. Hold down control and click each file you want to delete, or if you want to delete a whole continuous range of files hold down shift and click on the first file and the last file in the range you want to delete. Then delete the multiple selection as if it was a single song file.

Aaah command (not control). That's going to take some getting used to for us old Windows users.

BTW, how did you type the (⌘) symbol?
