My Intel Core Duo iMac will be finishing up the last of its Famous tasks on CPDN in the next hour. This has been a good project for the iMac (if you don't count the errors). The other projects I am running are Einstein and yoyo (ogr). I used to run Seti with the optimized apps.
I don't like running 2 Einstein tasks together as they use up 286 MB of RAM each and even with 1 GB of RAM, things slow down. It is better now that I figured out how to set the preferences on Boinc Manager for memory use. It isn't clear in the instructions.
What do you find are the most effective projects for Macs today? Hopefully CPDN will be getting more Mac work when the new personnel have a chance to get organized.

I guess it all depends on what your idea of 'best' is. If you mean points production, Collatz Conjecture, Prime Grid, SETI Enhanced, Einstein, and Yoyo are the best producers on my Mac Pro. Other than that I have no idea what would be 'best.'
