is youtube showing videos in html 5 formate?
yes or no, my safari seems to suck at it...either not streaming the movie at all or only a part of it...
i have leopard safari...latest in both

YouTube has been slowly making the move over the HTML5 but most of their videos are still in Flash. I've found Safari to be very poor at showing videos smoothly and have now resorted to Firefox and have no complaints. Ensure that you have the latest Flash player installed, and repair permissions both before and after installing (make sure all apps are closed when doing this).

YouTube hasn't required Flash for ANY videos for years, now.
It started entirely converting to h.264 in 2007.
All are available Flash-free, albeit with a slight delay, occasionally (a day or two).
