What the heck is with Lost program scheduling? Why do they show 1 new ep then 3 reruns then 4 new eps then 4 reruns then...
I'm really beginning to lose faith in this show. Invasion is starting to be better.

That's kind of what happens when you have 22 episodes spread from September to May.

That would make sense, but the writers of this show love to use misdirection at every opportunity. Considering Locke miraculously regained the use of his legs (although we don't yet know what happened to make him wheelchair bound), it is just as possible that Jin's boys suddenly decided to work properly. We can only assume Jin and Sun got busy after getting to the Island.
I am getting highly annoyed with this shows inability to answer any of the questions that it introduces, and to continue to introduce more improbable circumstances. We're nearing 2 seasons of nothing but conflict without resolution. I am losing interest.

I agree. I have defended the show to friends in terms of its refreshingly unconventional storytelling style, its willingness to leave plenty unresolved, its character driven narrative. But there is a point in any art form where the artists have to make a choice about what the hell it is that they're doing.
Right now, it feels like the writers are spinning their wheels, choosing not to choose. It's still a clever show, but now Lost is clever at the expense of being dramatic. The show doesn't sustain any one of its myriad suspenseful subplots long enough, busy as it is introducing new ones. It's become a bit soap opera-ishl, albeit in its own bizarre context.
Thing is, the writers seem to have promised to reveal a mindblowing back-story so often, tacitly, with all of the mysterious and thought-provoking details they sprinkle in the stories, can they possibly meet the expectations they have raised?
I will continue to watch and hope.

I don't know. Either she's lying when she told Jin that she's never been with another man (going against the episode title: "The Whole Truth") and her English tutor-hotel magnate did knock her up...
...or the island cured Jin's sterility...
...or Sun and someone else on the island got busy...

You can see square root of 16, 64, and 225 (i.e. 4, 8, 15). Don't know where the rest of it is.

That was pretty cool! There's some speculation going around now that Locke's father is the original "Sawyer" con man. Will the coincidences ever end?!?!

Well that was a twist at the end - I figured she might have known Hurley from the past as a past psychologist, but not as another client of the pysch ward! Weird...

Another good ep. I had a feeling Libby was also in the ward, though. Next week ought to be great, too.

What's this about Libby? The episode I watched ended with the revelation that the prisoner was not Henry Gale.

I had a feeling that when the doc took Hurley's photo that we'd end up finding out Dave was imaginary. Meh.

it looks more like CV I, CV II, CV III and CV IV to me. makes me wonder if they indicate control valves for something. (or maybe they're just roman numerals?)

Does anyone have any new theories pertaining to last episode (the Hurley episode)?
Personally, I have a feeling that Libby has a more sinister motive behind her being around Hurley so much. Was/is she really crazy, or was she in that looney bin (kind of undercover) to get close to or monitor Hurley's actions? Or is she really a nut and just happened to be on the same plane as Hurley, etc?
If you notice at the very end, after she talks Hurley off the ledge, Hurley asks her something like "Do you think I can change?" and she smiles and says "Yes I do." But immediately after she says that her face gets really grim, as if she was faking the smile (Hurley doesn't see it). That caught my eye immediately. I dunno, it might not mean anything.
Any grand ideas or theories?

I agree with your observation about Libby's facial expression. I caught that and then when I saw her in the hospital. Obviously I have nothing to base thing on, but I thought maybe that the one of the people that Hurley killed in the accident was related to her and that made her flip out.
A parent, a child?
I'm probably way off, but either way, I'm really enjoying the show.

if he killed someone related to her, the hospital would surely know about it and not place them in the same ward.
i thought the look was more about her shame and not having dealt with her own problems while reassuring Hurley about his.

This is true, they probably wouldn't place them together.
I was talking to a person I work with and we were wondering if anyone has watched the Hurley flashbacks from season 1 and early season 2 to see if Libby shows up in the Hospital at all.

Or, they got tonight's script because they got drunk and went driving. After all, the episode was called "Two for the Road"

That was a fantastic episode, but he should've shot the promo people. Why did they tell us there was going to be a traitor? Was there anyone watching who didn't know who it was?

yah, that was option #2... and if this is the reason, I'm thinking the rest of the cast no longer needs designated drivers!
