Greetings,

Got a hand-me-down 1G iPhone from the in-laws, and I'm trying to decide which case/headphone combo to go with for all-around use.

I've been researching various review sites and info pages and this is what I've come up with:

For cases, I want to be able to clip the iPhone to my waistband; I don't like the idea of armbands, although I haven't really explored this option. The best option I can find is the iSkin Fuze. Good protection w/an effective clip option.

Are there any others out there that are well-liked?

As far as headphone/earbud/mic options go, I really like these:

However, at $179, they are too expensive for my tastes. The best sub-$100 pair I found appealing were these:

Any feedback on these options? Others that are favorable?

On a side note, how does everyone like the stereo one-way conversations with the iPhone; seems like it would be very disorienting not being able to hear your own voice...?

TIA

I run with a nano with the stock headphones - can't help you with the iPhone.

I use the Marware sportsuit convertible and stock headphones for running (and Runkeeper! (app))
