Well I have an Intel Mini Core Duo
The LCD I have attached is HP Pavilion f1703, now when i boot into windows everything just looks brighter and clearer but in the mac os it looks just blah. I dont know if its my eyes or what. The res on this is 1280x1024 at 60hz now in windows its set at 75hz and its crisp but if i set it to 75hz in mac os it gets kinda fuzzy. Also the mini isnt very responsive, Yahoo messenger crashed twice today, stuffs just not moving as it should as we would all think for this machine
specs are 512MB/60GB

a. dont use yahoo messenger...use adium instead.

b. try calibrating your display (sys pref-display-color tab) to your liking.

c. its no secret that you need lots of ram for os x. 512mb is the bare minimum if you ask me. get another 512 or better yet a gig or max it out and i assure you your system will get a lil more bounce in its step.
NOW YOU SEE ME! 2.4 MBP and 2.0 MBP (running ubuntu)
