That might just be Konfabulator (not released yet)

A friend gave them to me - I'll ask him and see if he'll allow me to release them! I'll make a thread if so.

I had no idea Synergy did something Konfabulator-esque... My mistake.

That's ok. I am excited about Konfab too. It will replace Synergy on my computer when I get my own UI created.
I can't wait! 6 more days!

The theme is Gia Mia (not released yet-MacNN exclusive beta coming soon), and to install it I used Duality 3.1.

what size do you want the desktop picture at? There is a texture in the background that would get messed up if it was just scaled. I have it at 1280 x 1024

So, where can that image be found?

it's a calander app called Desktop Calendar (the actual calandar is on the bottom right of my desktop). It's fully customizeable (including colors) and is a neat little app. Unfortunatlely, I'm having trouble finding it on version tracker. I think I picked it up on macnn I think, so try searching the forums.

thx, btw try MenuCalendar if you feel up to it, very nice app and doesn't use screen real estate, it's a drawer that comes out from the menubar.

Cool! The Neverending Story.
Hey.. how did you get your Comcast space to work? I can never get the stupid Java "Upload Utility" thingy POS crappy Java thing to work on any of my Macs on any browser.
Is there a way to FTP to it? Because I REALLY need web space. And can't even figure out how to use my own Comcast space!

I already tried that. It boots from the CD, and it installs just fine. Then when I try to boot from my hard drive, I get kernel panic, and this seems to be the cause:
getDependencyListForKmod(): Dependency com.apple.kernel.iokit of com.apple.driver.AppleCore99PE is not compatible or is unavailable.
Believe me, I've tried everything. I'd update my firmware, but I gave my OS 9 CD away and don't have it installed. Stupid stupid stupid. That's the only thing i haven't tried yet.

I just ftp to mywebpages.comcast.net from the command line. Your web page is in the mywebpages folder.

1) delete all preferences from all folders
if that don't work
2) clean install

Try to erase your harddrive and then do a clean install.

I've done that too.
I'm gonna list what I've done, just to let you guys know what I've been through. I rebooted my computer from the OSX 10.2 CD. I did an upgrade install. Rebooted. Kernel panic. Rebooted again from the 10.2 CD and did an archive install. Rebooted. Kernel panic. Rebooted from the 10.2 CD and went into Disk Utility and formatted my drive. Installed a full install. Rebooted. Kernel panic. I swapped out my hard drive and installed on that. Rebooted. Kernel panic. Just now I tried to update my firmware to 4.1.7. Turns out that update wasn't for my model iBook.
I'm completely out of solutions.
Somebody told me it's a hardware issue, but if it's hardware, wouldn't that turn up in 10.1 as well? I've run every OS on this thing I can find. Linux, OSX, OS 9, and BSD. All of them work flawlessly. Jaguar just will not work.
One thing I just thought of is swapping out my 256 MB RAM stick, that might be bad. But if it were bad, it seems like it would show up in every OS, not just that particular one.

[snip]
This definitely sounds like a hardware issue to me. It is possible for faulty (or just unexpected) hardware to work on one OS and not on another version of the same OS. It all depends on what the IO-Kit authors changed between versions.
I suggest trying different RAM, trying a different video card (that's my bet), trying a different network card, etc.
By the way, you haven't told us what hardware you're running. If it's an iMac, try running Apple's Hardware Test CD.
