Hi,
I'm running an ftp server in 10.4 using pure ftpd. It works great, but I am having an issue with file permissions.
I can't figure out how to set permissions on files that are located on a different volume from my system. From within the Pure FTPd manager, I grant a user with read only access to a folder on my second drive, but when I login with that user account, it has full write access to the folder.
Permissions for files and folder located on my system drive work perfectly. Is there any way around this issue?

Get info on the second volume and make sure that "Ignore ownership on this volume" under the "Ownership & Permissions" section is unchecked.

"Yields a falsehood when preceded by its quotation" yields a falsehood when preceded by its quotation.

Thanks for the reply. I looked, and that option was checked.
I unchecked it, restarted the ftp server, but I still get the same result. Is there something else that I'm missing?
