I hate this I have no idea what this is because my little imac had always been crash free...

can someone tell me how to best resolve this...
I hate to run to apple support if there is a simple solution...

things that are new on my iMac before kernel panic

10.1.3
iPhoto and new digital camera the worked flawlessly...

so I blame 10.1.3

It's kind of hard to help if you don't include the text of the panic (all of it). Yes, it's a pain to copy the text, but it's needed.

Also, info on what you were doing when the panic occurred would be helpful. Is it repeatable? Was it a one-time thing?

If it only happened once, and never again, don't worry about it. If it's consistent, then yeah, copy the panic text, send it to Apple via the feedback page, and post it here.

Had my three first ever Kernel Panics after installing the 10.1.3 update. Apple sucks in quality testing. Should never have released this update without testing it extensively.

Running a stock Cube 450mhz DVD.
